My Journey as a Magician

Hi to all of you! I'm Derek, and I provide engaging, interactive magical entertainment for a variety of occasions. After more than 30 years of practicing magic, I would like to share some of the high points of my path with you.

Since I was young, I have always enjoyed magic. I wanted to learn how to make art because I was captivated by its mysteries and wonders. I began by honing my skills with basic tricks and props, and with time, I expanded my repertoire. I also created my own style and personality by learning from books, DVDs, and other magicians.

I'm delighted I made the decision to become a professional magician. I've had the privilege of working in incredible locations and occasions, such the the Hard Rock Cafe, Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville, cruise ships, comedy clubs, and thousands of private events. I’ve met so many wonderful people along the way, and I’ve enjoyed making them laugh, smile, and gasp with my magic.

One of the best things about being a magician is that every show is different. Even though I do the same tricks at different places, it’s for different people, so they’re seeing it for the first time. And that’s what makes it special. I love to see the reactions and emotions of my audience, and to interact with them and make them part of the show. I also love to challenge myself and try new things, to keep my magic fresh and exciting.
